Changing it requires your current password and confirmation from both email addresses when Secure Email Change is enabled.
Freezing stops MIRR from accepting the request as a normal completion. It cannot invalidate confirmation links already issued by the email provider.

Saved on this device
Captures save in this browser first so you can write immediately, even before login or sync. Local data may remain on this device until browser/site data is cleared.
Sync means
When you are signed in and online, MIRR tries to copy saved entries from this device to your MIRR account. Local save and hosted sync are separate states.
Saved to your MIRR account
Synced entries, reflections, optional Help MIRR know you answers, and archetype feedback are scoped to your signed-in account.
OpenAI and optional generation
When you request Daily MIRR, Reflection or Weekly MIRR generation in OpenAI mode, MIRR may send selected synced content and context to OpenAI, with processing outside Canada, as described in the Privacy Policy. For Reflection, this can include recent synced entries, bounded context, and up to two eligible accepted day summaries when “Include accepted day summaries” is on in Reflection settings (on by default). These generation features stay optional.

60-day recovery: closing your account immediately blocks normal hosted use but keeps your synced server data for exactly 60 days so you can restore it. After the deadline, it becomes eligible for automatic permanent deletion.
This device is separate: closure does not erase captures or other MIRR data saved in this browser. Use the device controls above on every device if you want those local copies removed.
Restoration during the recovery window requires fresh authentication and your verified account email. The existing beta support channel remains available as a fallback.
Optional product analytics

This is off unless you explicitly opt in. MIRR's first-party events use fixed categories only, never journal text, prompts, AI responses, corrections, memory text, passwords, tokens, email addresses, or raw account and record identifiers.
Optional events are not queued offline, are not sent to a third-party analytics provider, are unlinkable to your account when stored, and expire within 90 days. You can withdraw at any time.
Send beta feedback
Feedback opens your email app and goes to the existing MIRR beta support contact. MIRR does not automatically attach journal text, AI output, account identifiers, or diagnostics. You control what the email contains and can use the same channel to request deletion.
Email beta feedbackPrivate-beta choices and limits
Invitation only: access remains limited. A date, metric, or completed observation period never opens signup or expands the beta automatically.
Separate permission: optional product analytics and beta-safety review are different choices. Both stay off until you explicitly allow them, and you can withdraw each separately.
Recovery limit: before a larger beta, MIRR still needs current hosted backup/restore and authenticated-live safety verification. Do not use beta software as the only place you keep information you cannot afford to lose.
Other manual beta data requests
Contact the MIRR beta owner at support@mymirr.app. Include the email address you use for MIRR and the request you want handled.
- Account-closure help: ask for identity-verified support if self-service restoration is unavailable.
- Other deletion questions: ask about the scope or timing of hosted and backup-remnant handling.
Deleting synced account data does not automatically clear copies saved in browsers you used. Clear site data on each device if you want local browser copies removed too.
What MIRR is not
MIRR is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, crisis support, or an AI therapist. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, use local emergency or crisis resources.
